What to expect from Jasmin's classes…

A welcoming environment where we do not compare ourselves to others around us, instead we focus solely on ourselves and how our body is feeling at that moment in time. It is important to remember that each individual has a unique anatomy with different body proportions and different medical histories, therefore poses look and feel different and individual.
In my classes, the focus is on correct, safe alignment in each pose, so you get the most out of each pose while keeping your body protected from injury. To enhance this, props – including blocks, belts and bolsters – are available. I will show you how you can use these props to deepen your practice and move into better alignment. All necessary equipment is provided, including mats, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Lastly, each class I will emphasise the importance of listening to your own body. This means at any point if you’d like a rest then you’re welcome to come into downward dog, child’s pose, or whatever position your body is calling for at that moment. If you attend regular yoga classes you’ll see improvements in your strength, flexibility and mobility in no time!
