HATHA YOGA Saturdays 7am – 8am, 8am – 9am & 9am – 10am

Hatha yoga is the oldest form of physical yoga, yet is still my favourite style. It offers a gentle yet powerful approach to building strength, flexibility and kinaesthetic awareness. Traditionally, hatha yoga involves long holds in each pose, allowing your body time to relax and deepen into each position. We will connect each movement with our breath, encouraging mindful movement while learning new movement patterns and improving our mobility. My hatha yoga classes will be a fun, invigorating way to start your morning, so whether you’ve tried yoga before or not I invite you to come flow by the sea with me.

This class is open to all levels. I’ll offer variations of each pose to support your individual needs. Correct and safe alignment in each pose will be the priority, so you get the most out of each position. To enhance this, props – including blocks, belts and bolsters – are available. I will show you how you can use these props to deepen your practice and move into better alignment. All necessary equipment is provided, including mats, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

ASHTANGA VINYASA YOGA Wednesdays 8:45am – 10:00am

A dynamic, more fiery style of yoga that trains strength and flexibility, as well as mental focus and discipline. Rooted in tradition, it follows a set sequence of postures designed to open the body in a progressive and balanced way. The vinyasa element connects each movement with the breath, creating a flowing, meditative rhythm that promotes both physical and mental purification.

This class is accessible to all levels, but it is considered more challenging than the other yoga styles I am offering. I will suggest variations of each pose to meet you where you are currently at; you’re encouraged to move at your own pace, according to your body, taking rest in a restorative pose whenever you feel you need to. Props – including blocks, belts and bolsters- are available and actively encouraged to help deepen your practice, helping you to

progress further safely and effectively. All necessary equipment is provided, including mats, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

NOTE: we will be doing the Ashtanga half primary series and each week of the month shall end slightly differently so you get to try more of the full Ashtanga sequence. ^To be determined but most likely

RESTORATIVE YOGA Fridays 8:30am – 9:45am

Restorative yoga is a slow, deeply relaxing practice that targets the deep connective tissues—ligaments, joints, fascia—through long-held, passive poses. Often held for 3 to 5 minutes, each posture encourages stillness and surrender, helping to improve flexibility, increase circulation and support joint health. It’s designed to calm the nervous system and promote healing from stress and fatigue. Using props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to fully support the body in gentle, long-held poses, this practice encourages complete physical and mental release. Ideal for all levels, especially those recovering from injury or burnout, restorative yoga fosters stillness, inner peace, and a profound sense of renewal.

Join me, a passionate yoga teacher, for inclusive, beginner-friendly classes that focus on building strength, flexibility, and inner calm. With an emphasis on safe alignment, breath awareness, and listening to your body, these classes are welcome to everybody—no matter your experience level. All equipment is provided, just bring yourself and a willingness to move and breathe.

Struggling to decide what style is for you?

I recommend giving them all a go at some point as each offers their own set of benefits, but here is some general advice. Ashtanga is more of a workout and will leave you feeling stronger and more powerful. Restorative yoga is completely relaxing and will leave you feeling flexible and utterly peaceful. Hatha yoga is a wonderful balance of both! If you are new to yoga I recommend trying Hatha yoga first to begin the process of building that kinaesthetic awareness in your body and learning new movement patterns. Once you feel more confident you can try the other styles and see what one you prefer! Like me, you might find you love them all and choose to do each style simply when your body is calling for that energy – do you want fiery energy, calming energy or a beautiful harmony of both?
